The Harghita Community Development Association is a partner in the LEAP - The next step for Europe project, coordinated by the Via Charlemagne Association from France. Other partners involved in the project are REDEFINE - Association for Research Education and Development in Portugal and Christliches Jugenddorfwerk Deutschlands Gemeinnutziger EV in Germany.
Objectives of the project:
- Provide guidance to young people involved in the project in drafting a new Schuman Declaration
- Actively involve young people in the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration
- Encourage young people to take a constructive, responsible and informed position on the future of Europe
- Action against far-right political movements, euroscepticism, hate speech, racism and xenophobia
- To enable young people to take an active part in the democratic life of the community and to express their views
